Pilots:
UAV Pilots: All of our pilots are FAA-certified with a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
Agricultural Applicators: Each pilot also holds an Aerial Applicator’s License and Core Competency Certification through the Idaho State Department of Agriculture, ensuring expertise in handling agricultural treatments safely and effectively. All other state requirement are also followed for each applicator working out of Idaho.
Business Entity Compliance:
FAA Part 137 Certification – Authorizing legal agricultural aerial applications
FAA 44807 Exemptions – Allowing Alair Ag Drones’ Pilots to efficiently operate for custom aerial applications
- General Liability Insurance to protect our customers and operations
- Chemical Liability Insurance to protect against any unintended crop damage.
- All additional insurance required for aerial applications in Idaho and neighboring states.
Safety Protocols
We prioritize the safety of people, property, and the environment in every application. Our commitment includes:
Safety Consultation – We go over all safety measures with the grower before and/or during, any application.
Pilot-in-Command Supervision – A designated lead pilot oversees every job, ensuring proper equipment handling and safety.
Comprehensive Risk Assessment – We conduct pre-flight safety evaluations, including wind conditions, ground hazards, and environmental factor including PULA restrictions.
